Srabasti (Jonai) Singh

“Look outside your window and you will find a hand to hold,” Mother Teresa once told a young mother, Srabasti (Jonai) Singh and those words illuminated her life and mission ever since. . A Long Island–based entrepreneur, community leader, and music producer, Jonai has spent over two decades weaving creativity with compassion, and purpose with action. Recognized as a North Hempstead Hall of Fame Honoree (2010), she has been a steadfast advocate for children’s education, creative learning, and senior well-being across Long Island. Her work with the isolation and well being of immigrant seniors in Long Island is widely noted. 

As founder of JS Events LLC, Jonai has brought the brilliance of South Asian artists to North America. During the pandemic, she reignited hope—launching digital initiatives that supported struggling artists, later featured in Rolling Stone India. With extensive experience in leadership, operations and strategic brand building, Jonai envisions Aahan Foundation as a beacon of empowerment—a movement devoted to transforming lives. She is passionate about helping Aahan “Be the Light, Lead the Change.”
