Project Ignite is the flagship initiative of Ahaan Foundation, designed to empower individuals to break barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. Through structured mentorship and by equipping participants with essential tools and skills, Project Ignite aims to kindle a passion for growth and transformation across communities.
Goals
The primary goal is to provide guidance and resources across three key demographics to foster skills development and pathways to empowerment.
- Children (Ages 6–12)
The focus here is on foundational cognitive and communication skill development.
- Communication Skills: Improve the communication abilities of at least 20 individuals.
- Logical Thinking & Reasoning: Encourage logical thinking and reasoning in 50 children via the Bal Ahaan Nilaya program (in-home group sessions).
- Young Adults (Ages 12–20)
The focus is on employment readiness and holistic development.
- Employment-Related Skills: Teach and empower participants with practical skills essential for employment.
- Mentorship Program: Build and upskill participants through a structured mentorship program.
- Adults (Ages 18+)
The focus is on professional development and career advancement.
- Mentorship Program: Implement the structured mentorship program outlined above.
- Continuing Education: Offer funded and guided continuing education opportunities.

Mentorship Program Strategy
The mentorship strategy is built on flexibility and defined targets:
- Target Areas: Identify and focus on specific geographies in the US and India or any other identified region.
- Delivery Model: Combine one-on-one mentoring with group sessions to build a strong community.

Funding
- The project will be funded from the Ahaan Foundation’s mainstream account.
- An initial allocation of 15% of the total project budget will be made, which will be adjusted across different beneficiary groups as deemed appropriate.
